cherrygorgeous is an innovative small business which prides itself on providing beautiful wedding stationery. Its emphasis is on style, individuality and creating a bit of character that will blow away the old clichéd concepts of what a wedding should be. It also takes environmental issues seriously, so not only does its wedding stationery look fabulous but its as environmentally sound as possible. cherrygorgeous' founder Dee would say that the business really all began on a beach in India with a proposal of marriage! But then she is just an old-fashioned romantic! However, once back in the UK after all the vivid colours and richness of India in her head, she found that all the invites here were, well a bit dull. Now she understood why all her friends (and friends of friends) had asked her to design their wedding stationery. So she decided not to go back to her job as a senior graphic designer in London and set up cherrygorgeous instead so she could bring more beauty, design, colour and fun into weddings and life in general‚ well its what we all could do with, if we're honest!
So cherrygorgeous was born and after winning a place in The Unit the business has gone from strength to strength,

"Being in the unit has been a great opportunity for my business,' says Dee,  'it has helped me be more focused and achieve goals quicker than I expected. The wedding market is extremely competitive but what I offer is new and exciting and the interest I have had in the business has reflected that.'

Dee hopes that her unique stationery designs will help maintain the continued growth of her business. "What is currently on offer in the market is quite dated. I don't understand why weddings can't reflect people's interest in fashion and trends.'

Cherrygorgeous believes that when people fall in love and want their dream wedding it doesn't mean its time to ditch their own style!
