Mavcast began life in 2006 specialising in mobile advertising services and applications. After achieving a six figure angel investment Mavcast secured business relationships with major high street businesses including Hays plc, B&Q, TUI and the world largest home shopping company Otto to name a few.

Mavcast quickly realised that Utopia for retailers was to be able to turn a marketing channel into a check-out, enabling customers to make purchases using only their mobile phone.

After developing Contact Secure they took a second round of investment with the founders diluting their shareholding. This resulted in the creation of a relationship with the UK's largest network operator and the imminent high street launch of Contact Secure.
