Our speaker for this event is Mike Tomlinson, the widower of the late Jane Tomlinson CBE who's incredible fundraising exploits, including marathons, Man Triathlons and epic bike rides, whilst suffering from terminal cancer made her world famous. Earlier this year Mike and the Tomlinson family were delighted to announce that the Jane Tomlinson Appeal had smashed through the £2 million raised mark and have now set a new ambitious fundraising target of £5 million.

As a Trustee and Chief Executive of the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Mike has established himself as a passionate and extremely successful fundraiser in his own right and has achieved enormous success as an event’s organiser via the Run For All series which includes the Leeds 10k and York 10k.  These events have raised well over £1.5 million for partner charities since their inception in 2007 and the series is set to expand with an additional two city centre events planned for 2010.
