Childcare - Make the taxman pay for it

Ruth Dowswell, Director of Young Discoverers Before and After School Club, Holiday Club and Children's Day Nursery, will guide you through how to source the most appropriate Childcare for your child. Whether you are considering going back to work, increasing your hours, or simply giving yourself a break, finding the right care for you and your family is a huge decision. She can give helpful hints and tips on what questions to ask Childminders, Nurseries or Playgroups, and how to ensure you leave your most precious possession in safe hands.

Government support is available to help with the cost of childcare in order that no one should have to compromise on quality, but suprisingly few people take full advantage of this. Proposals to reduce the Childcare Vouchers may mean that these incentives are not available forever, so learn how to make the most of the system and cut your income tax and national insurance bill, or explore your Child Tax Credit entitlement.
