An Audience with Judith McKenna, Chief Financial Officer of Asda

Judith is Chief Financial Officer for Asda Stores Ltd, the largest International subsidiary of Walmart with 170,000 colleagues and a turnover of over £18bn (USD$29bn)
She graduated with a degree in law and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. She then moved to the brewing and pub retailing industry for Carlsberg Tetley Ltd and Allied Domecq PLC, before joining the Asda business when it was still a PLC in 1996. Shortly after the acquisition of Asda by Walmart in 1999, she became CFO in 2001 and a member of Asda's Executive Board.

As well as responsibility for all the Company's finances, Judith leads Asda's Property, Design & Construction teams and has recently taken on the role of leading the future integration of the Netto's business into Asda, combining people, operational and financial skills to ensure a smooth transition.
