Slipstream Energy is a Yorkshire based renewable energy company developing the next generation of advanced wind turbines optimised for use in the urban environment. The companies provides its customers; developers, architects and environmentally aware businesses with a wind turbine product that can generate a clean source of on-site energy that makes a bold statement about their environmental credentials. Slipstream Energy is positioned to become a significant player in this emerging renewable energy sector, with a product that combining engineering excellence and cutting edge technologies with aesthetic design. 

Slipstream Energy was formed by Directors Philip Wilson and Mike Roberts in 2007 when they both foresaw the significant potential of renewable energy generation in urban environments.  The Unit provided valuable support for the two entrepreneurs as they left their full time jobs and set about growing the business. Slipstream currently employ four full time staff and are set for further rapid growth in 2009 looking to grow the team to 12 members. Their ground breaking approach to business and technology was recently recognised by the region when they received the Innovative Young Company Award at Yorkshire Innovator 09.
