The Unit is rebranding and becoming Inc Enterprise

The Unit is relaunching this month under a new name of Inc Enterprise.

The rebrand follows a campaign to bring together all the business incubation services at Leeds City College under an overarching brand of ‘Inc – Inspiring Enterprise’. 

In addition to Inc Enterprise, Inc Workshop in Sheepscar (formerly Factory4) and Inc Creative in Keighley provide facilities, support, workshops and test trading opportunities for creative businesses.

Leeds City College Hosts Seventh Leeds Enterprise Network Event

The seventh Leeds Enterprise Network event was a huge success with Leeds City College hosting the event attended by around 80 delegates on Wednesday 16th November.  Jennie Beaumont, Head of External Funding and Business Enterprise, introduced the evening event and discussed the net315 Project, a programme available through Leeds City College to support start-up businesses with their business plans offering free advice and training. 

Leeds Enterprise Network celebrates its sixth inspirational networking event

70 new and established businesses came to hear Gary Lumby outline the current support available for business in a changing economic landscape on Thursday 19th May. 

As Director of Small Business Banking at Yorkshire Bank and President of Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, Gary presented a realistic but hopeful picture for businesses looking for support in the current climate.  Gary emphasised the need for businesses to think creatively, access finance from more than one source and develop robust business plans to support their propositions.

Places Still Available at Leeds Enterprise Network Event on 19th May

Expert help and advice for budding entrepreneurs is on the agenda at a forthcoming network event being held in the city.

President of Leeds Chamber Gary Lumby will be the guest speaker at the Leeds Enterprise Network on Thursday (May 19th) between 5.30-7pm at Old Broadcasting House, in Woodhouse Lane.
